Revelate Designs started making bicycle bags and packs in 2001, and are considered the pioneers of bikepacking. Over time, a few products expanded into an entire line of products, which mount anywhere and carry anything. With their current hang tag packaging, the features and technical product details were not communicated. The first step was to understand how different retailers merchandise Revelate Designs products and audit the core information customers need to understand a products purpose.
The solution is a flexible packaging system that combines modular hang tags and rigid header cards to create a consistent and clear navigation of where the product attaches. A custom icon system helps clearly communicate the products technical features.
